THANK YOU!!!!! here is what KillBill's stats will be for this year: 0 he will be lucky if he plays at all nuff said
I'm still in defense for Swift. I'm in no defense for DA, I thought he could be a good, solid scorer off of the pine, and fact is in about 28mpg, he got us 10/4/4 and that was solid. So he was good, but his baggage is just plain old dirty and ugly, we don't want a piece of that. Always something or the other with him.
Not that attitude towards the fans necessarily means that much, but DA when he was injured and walking in like he was stoned to the bone, wouldn't so much as sign a kid's autograph at the tunnel into the TC. Lot's of other players would sign, but over and over I saw him just blow off kids like it was somehow "beneath" him. He just seemed like an arrogant attitude problem. Then he got a ring, so that just proves Life Ain't Fair!
is it just me or did the original Derek Anderson - minus the grown out hair - look a lot like Martin Lawrence?
He was actually very athletic and attacked the basket readily.... until he got injured and began the process into becoming 100% b**** (settled more on his outside jumper), joining the proud ranks of Dirk and the Italian World Cup soccer team.
I actually remember ripping up Derek Anderson after he was still trash talking the Blazers to the press well after he arrived in Houston. TONS of people came to his defense. I really ought to dig up that thread because it'd be interesting to see if any of those people defending him then are the same people attacking him now. Derek Anderson is a washed up, ungrateful whiner. The guy gets paid millions of dollars a year to be terrible at his job and still manages to act like the world is against him.
Some fans have expectations and want to believe. But when a free agent comes in here and doesn't produce due to mediocrity, the fans have every right to complain. Fact is JVG was unable to turn those guys around. Jury is definently out on VSpan. He won't be immune to the fan's judgements just like any other player on the team. Hilarious? Maybe. Normal fan reaction, most definently.
