....and the episodes would have to be on HBO with an inappropriate language and hand gestures warning. Perhaps Mel Gibson could get a cameo?
To Texas. Its already happening in really light numbers. Texas and California overall (not LA) have some similarities really. There's a lot of agriculture in both states. Both have high populations and 2-3 really big cities. Warm weather in both. Just one's more liberal leaning and other conservative to moderate. Brooklyn born (but not bred). The stereotypical accents make it where they look like dumb goombas. Also the fast paced rough and tumble urban jungle theme gets put out there. Overall my experiences in Brooklyn have been mostly pleasant. The fear of getting mugged in the subway and waiting impatiently for public transport sucks, but the lack of stress in being transported instead of driving kinda cancels it out and evens it out with being behind the wheel yourself in hours of traffic. Get over the impatience and the mugging fear, and its smooth sailing.
FYI this was an Urban Planning prof at Cal and the SF Bay Area hates the LA probably more than Houston hates Dallas.
the houstonians i know who migrated to LA love it. depends on your career and lifestyle as much as Houston's rap scene has developed... <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/SindqK8OeMY&hl=en_US&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/SindqK8OeMY&hl=en_US&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>
Not sure of your point, but if its giving praise to SoCal's rap I don't know what to tell you. Outside of 2Pac's continuous releases, LA rap has sucked since the mid nineties.
LA. as long as you dont have to talk to anyone. traffic is a wash for me. it gets more congested in la but the weather makes everything bearable. in houston traffic cars become microwave ovens.
I like how all these effin polls end up with... if you take X out of the equation, this place would be great to live. LA is hella expensive to live. You want to take cost of living out of the equation? How about I take their weather out of the equation? If I can take cost of living out of the equation, I'd be living in Hawaii.
That reminds me of this girl I went out with. If it weren't for her looks and personality, she would be really attractive.
