    Grant Williams; 4-yrs $53 mil. Dillon Brooks 4-yrs $80 mil. This is such crap; I just don’t understand it. Ime used Grant Williams a sh#t-ton in his playoff rotation. We have plenty of 2nd rounders. Wtf?

    I give up.

    Ime knows Williams better than anyone, if he has decided Brooks is the better option even with that contract, I will be taking his word for it over people getting upset on the internet....

    I'm guessing they were hard-locked on the idea that they needed a true wing defender, and they see Grant as an undersized PF. Or he just didn't want to sign here no matter what. I would rather have Grant Williams on that contract (or even a bit higher) than Dillon Brooks on what we paid 1000 times out of 1000.

    What about if Ime is not a good coach, just HC'ed a powerful Celtics a year by chance?

    We should not put all eggs to the same market. We don't know yet whether he is any good or not. How we handled all keys to him so early?

    Let’s wait to see who else we pick up after tomorrow. We could pick up a PF with better size than Grant. I like Grant, but maybe he didn’t want to come to a rebuild situation. He can really help Mavs though.

    I really believe the bold is the case .... they wanted players at the 1 & 3 to take on the two most difficult defensive opponents to protect Green .... and they were willing to pay for it.

    That’s me too. I can’t make a lot of sense of what’s been going on lately. I’m going to quit worrying about it and see what happens. If it works out, great, if not, I would imagine Stone gets **** canned.
