I missed the first qtr of that game, but this one, it seemed the effort was sustained. It appears they did it against in the 2nd half against the bulls. So maybe the corner they turned is a bit of a long corner and they are still in the process of the turn

How did we only score 90 something points against Chicago when everyone else is scoring 130 on a nightly basis? We won. But I still have a lot of concerns about our offense. Nobody seems to be clicking.

Just a reminder: The Bulls game would have been a loss if the Bulls weren't so awful and kept throwing the ball away in the 4th quarter.

We are a midnight shadow of what we were last season.

Our offense is bad this year. Like, really bad. We are a poor shooting team that can't make shots, and also cannot score inside. We also struggle to get to the foul line, and when we do, we can't make our free throws. A couple stats -

Ortg- 106.0, 24th in the league
    eFG - 49.9%, 25th in the league
FTA rate - 0.253, 21st in the league
    FT% -69.4%, 28th in the league
Paint points - 49.3, 27th in the league

It's safe to expect this stuff to improve once all our guys are healthy, the question is by how much. We need our offense to be top 5, going from 24th (where we are now) up to like 15th or even 10th isn't really gonna cut it.

You are talking about a sample size of 8 games.

Offense isn't what concerns me when you have the guys we do with a coach like MDA.

Defense was what concerned me the first 6 games. That seems to be a lot better with much room for improvement.

I still think we are a good role player away from being a threat to GS

? This team without Ariza was one game away from the NBA finals and a probable championship.

How am what I am saying delusional?

It's true, BUT Harden was doing his best to match the Bulls in turnovers.

Because its not the same team.

Straight from the the player on the team.

We dont have a defensive coach and Mike cant coach defense. Never could.

    We dont have the chemistry.

We have downgraded our players defensively. We cant play switching defense as well as we could last year because we dont have the players to do so.

And...this team, already old, is a year older.

Oh, and last year we had HCA. This year...very much doubt it.

    Questions:
-Injuries and is coming off of a historical monster year. As fans are our expectations realistic him? - Harden
-Looks like a lottery winner that is still going to work trying to care but really does he? - Paul
-Our coach only coaches one way without exception. Is he a one trick pony? - MDA
-The team traded your best friend and brought in another player to do your role. The GM visited you in Canada over the summer. The team says one thing but looks like something else. Do I really fit here anymore? - Gordon
-A team blames you for their short comings and trades you to a team pays you to stay away. Another team tells you to change your game or your not welcome. You have started your whole life and now you role is VERY defined. Is my career over and I am the last to know? - Melo

I think you are being irrational so early in the season. It's way too early and there are moves still to be made

We need to completely reconstruct the 4th-9th men to be able to touch Golden State. Green, Ennis, MCW, Fartenstein, Chriss/Nene/Knight are all big fat nothings. Everyone but Capela, Harden, Paul, Tucker, and maybe Clark, need to be moved for us to have a shot. Yes, that includes Gordon. He needs to be involved for us to upgrade.

I only say keep Clark because he's got potential in this league. Every GM would love to pry him off of us as a throw in for a trade.

Ok, let's go line by line then...

Because its not the same team. Straight from the the player on the team. (Tucker himself said. Is he being irrational?)

We dont have a defensive coach and Mike cant coach defense. Never could. (Those are facts. Nothing irrational about it.)

We dont have the chemistry. (Watching them play, again nothing irrational about it)

We have downgraded our players defensively. We cant play switching defense as well as we could last year because we dont have the players to do so. (This is very evident from watching them play. The coaches themselves considered changing how we play defense due to personel changes)

And...this team, already old, is a year older. (This is a fact, nothing irrational about it)

Oh, and last year we had HCA. This year...very much doubt it. (You can argue that plenty of season left but given that Warriors are already on a roll, and we are still trying to figure things our, it is very unlikely that we will get HCA, and we need HCA to have a solid chance to beating Warriors. Nothing irrational about it)....

.....Which leaves us with your last part, your claim that "moves are still to be made. Well, you can only analyze what you have, not what you might get. You cant say we are one player away from beating the Warriors based on move we are likely to make. Now that is irrational.

I didn't get to watch the last game ... but if we weren't playing significantly better , then we would have lost ... the fact that we won and our defense held them down is a good sign (yes I know the bulls are bad ; so are the clippers )

I'm not worried about harden at all . I think he's going to be even better this year than last . Players as smart as him keep improving until they physically can't do it anymore .. he hasn't lost it yet .
