a real rocket fan would vote steve just because hes a rocket and he is a all star type player.usually the starting line up are the most exciting people in the nba.even thow cassel might be playing better this year most other people out of houston would rather watch steve.iam pretty sure sam will make it this year so it works out for both.

thats just like your son or lil brother having a basketball game and needs your support but you choose to not show him support and and go see someone else play////just cause you think the other dude is playing better ,but hes not family.

U dont have to like steve ,but in the allstar game every time he dribbles that basketball hes repersenting the city of houston and rockets fans everywhere so why not vote.

Funny...I thought that the all-star game was about me...the fan. I would love to see Stevie in the all-star game. He is very exciting to watch...especailly in a game that has no D. He has had by his standards an off year still adjusting his game to JVG's(I'm hoping things will really start clicking after the all-star break), but he is very fun to watch....well except for the excessing dribbling, of course.
But fans like me like seeing Stevie, Vince, KG, Nash, Kidd, Shaq, Kobe, AI, because they are all players with that certain flash and flair that us fans love to watch. I love Sam Cassell, very good player and and a key piece to our championships, but if I had to pay to see either one or the other in the all-star game(even though Cassell's a lock this year)...I'd pick Steve every time.

I agree with the notion that the 'Franchise' doesn't really fit our style of play (team basketball). However, I do enjoy watching his athleticism, so it will be FUN to see him let loose, and play like his former self. The All-star game or streetball is really the only place I'd like to see his former self though.

 

Whoever voted for YAO to start over Shaq should be shot! Steve is the only rocket that should be at the ALL Star game.

 

You need to go somewhere else with that garbage (be shot?). You obviously haven't seen the stats lately. I guess the 1.2+ million people that voted for Yao should all be shot!

When is the last time Superman played a game? Superman shouldn't even be an All-Star this year!

if you are a fan of a team and you dont want a player from that team to be on the all-star team, then you just flat out suck. what kind of a fan is that? i mean come on. if you dont want him to be in the all star game, make a post about how the fans shouldnt vote for all stars, but dont complain about our players making it. and also, did yall hear about sf saying he would give up his spot for sam cassel if he could? that is quality right there.
