Lol. Let me dig through my post history with idiots like D-rock telling them Chet's build makes him way too injury prone. They say I be trollin, but when I end up right NOBODY gives me credit lol
Oh **** his foot is ****ed if he has a lisfranc! That is a horrible injury! Might even be game over for his career.. it can be that bad Unless it a lisfranc sprain but they said torn ligaments..not good at all.. like really really bad
TBD, depends on the severity of the injury and type of treatment provided. Medical practices and procedures is one of the fastest improving areas out there for the modern civilization.
Maybe for average people. What athletes and professional players put their bodies through is entirely un-natural.... whether its throwing a baseball repetitively at 90+mph, getting hit at force equivalent to a car accident on the football field, or having to make sharp/quick pivot movements on a basketball court that sometimes doesn't give. Yes, they've devoted an entire field of medicine to fixing these injuries (because they largely don't happen outside of playing the sport)... but it still doesn't mean the human body is designed to withstand any of it again and again.
I think it sucks. Would have sucked worse if we had him but still …. Watching the Docs video it wasn’t on Lebron and Chet has been in those same situations countless times. Freak accident. Wasn’t even the floors fault. If we get first pick next year Iam still all in on Wemby though. Some of this is growing pains for really young centers. Embiid is an example.
Lol. That injury got nothing to do with his build. It’s a freak injury. Gerald Green, Korkmaz suffered from this injury too. It’s not like Chet has a broken bone or fracture.
Here are a few off the top of my head. I think all these are American. I know they are all white, played at least 5 years, and 6'10" or over. They are rewarding Dame for staying in Portland and not high tailing it to New York or L.A. or Miami like Mitchell is trying to do. You have to keep some smaller markets fans happy or just fans in the the big markets will be watching. Wembanyama and Dame keeps the the Blazers halfway watchable over just Wembanyama. Dame also gets rewarded by his contract progressing up to $60+ mil. Wembanyama rookie contract offsets the Dame contract size.
This guy talks about white vs black foot arches In all my semesters in physiology and anatomy or kinesiology I don't recall this being mentioned. I can say blacks have a much higher rate for sickle cell disease. I know it's a conversation borderline "Jimmy the Greek" stuff and I can neither confirm nor deny the truth of it all. The reason I said stay away from Chet is because of a kyphotic "hunchback" appearance or posture. Usually a sign of calcium deficiency that leads to osteoporosis. I said Chet may not being breaking bones......but pulled ligaments or tendons may occur as he goes up against bigger NBA players. I said don't draft him unless he submits to a Bone Density test.
