Having foot problems already is not a good sign Not even Yao broke down this early Apparently it happened here guarding Lebron
Safely putting on weight without sacrificing athleticism when the human body is that big is always difficult.
Hopefully it's not a situation where he ends up like Greg Oden or Sam Bowie. I wanted to see this kid prove people wrong.
My wife and I were watching a YT video about him and he mentioned in passing how if he gained any weight he'd suffer from ankle and shin issues/pain. We both were alarmed by that and thought it weird no one seemed to be bothered by the statement. Rockets lucked out.
Man, poor kid. Talk about your dreams crashing down. Before even 1 real game. And in a meaningless game guarding 1 of the best ever. Hope he has a solid recovery and gets back soon. Rumors Wemba might already have foot issues as well. Risky with these frames.
I don't want to jinx our young guys talking about Chet but being that skinny and that tall, injuries are always a concern.
Hopefully it's not as bad as some are alleging. The kid has a bright future if he can stay somewhat healthy and grounded (no pun intended). Go Rockets!!! ....... ....... .......
There was some thought that it might've been Chet to fall to 3 instead of Jabari. You know what OP means - we got lucky by chet not falling to us
Bron out here ending careers in Pro AMs!! YIKES! "The physicality wont be a problem for Chet he's got heart"
that whole game was a sh*tshow and had to be cancelled in the 2nd quarter because there was no AC and the floor was too slippery
Torn ligaments can be partially torn which heal - so let's wait to see what the final prognosis is.... DD
Eh...let's hope this thread doesn't come back to bite us. None of these rookies have proved a damn thing and even if Chet takes a serious injury it is better to have one at the start of his career than in the middle of it. He could still end up being the better player, long term, so lets chill with any definitive statements.
