Is this team not 11-13 after the ASB? They’re on a 4 game winning streak after beating the Lakers, Pistons, Wolves, and Rockets after a big comeback in the 4th. So before this 4 game win streak, they had gone 7-13 over a 20 game stretch, yet they’re still the team that has so many on here terrified.

If the scenario of OKC losing and Spurs/Clips winning then they would all be tied. In the regular season Spurs won their matchup against OKC and then Clips tied with OKC 2-2 but Clips would be higher in their division. Does that not matter if they're higher in their Division?

This leads to us tying with Denver at 53-29, which bumps us to the #2 seed due to winning the season series. A three-way tie occurs at the bottom of the bracket, with all teams at 48-34. Due to the tiebreak protocols, Spurs would be # 6, Clippers would be # 7, and Thunder would drop to #8

In this scenario, we are #3 seed playing... the Thunder. The Nuggets face off against the Spurs and the Warriors take on the Clippers. We pull arguably the toughest first round match-up. Not good.


I'm personally hoping we can get the #2 seed and play the #7 seed Spurs but that's only because I want a chance to be able to go to the games.

Since Portland is tanking and OKC already clinched 7th seed, It will be their best interest to tank and face Denver instead of Houston. Denver is playoff unproven, while Houston took out OKC in 5 easy games last time they played.

 

If we lose a best-of-7 series to any team, including the Thunder, then we deserve it. Nut up, box out, tighten those closeouts, and win.

 

OKC is a very rough and physical team, so the risk of injury is high for anyone playing against them
