    I heard Byron Scott say something interesting in passing. He said that the match ups that are considered are not just on the court. He said that as a coach, you know that there are certain coaching match ups that cause difficulty and that is taken into consideration as much as the physical match up on the floor when it comes to playoff opponent.

    The Nuggets have not played especially well down the stretch and, like you said they are 4-0 against the Thunder. Maybe the Thunder coaching staff makes the decision to win at all costs.

    Damian and Mcollum out is great for us, I would rather us be 3rd play OKC, Denver and then GS if we get there. We will be pissed and annihlate OKC if we get them i can gurantee that

    Favored by who? Every ****ing year(since Durant left) I hear about OKC and every year I watch them routinely get punted out of the first round. I don’t know who will play them this year but the result will be exactly the same. Would love to see the Rockets do it again.

    you would think these people would adjust their love fest for okc, especially after they let a rookie boot them out of the first round a year ago.

    I can't remember ever seeing this in the NBA before. One team maybe, and there's always the tank for better lottery odds thing, but I can't remember this many teams acting like scared little kids, afraid to go out the door first at recess. I do remember seeing this sort of crap in soccer though and, like flopping, I guess it's one more thing we get to thank an influx of foreign players for.

    Looks very soft, and not at all good for the NBA. Of course, if all of these machinations result in a championship for one of these cowering teams, then no one will remember how they got there, just that they did.

    Damn though, this would be discouraging if you were a player on one of those teams, I'd think. "Ooh! My coach is scared of the big bad Warriors (Rockets, Thunder, whatever)! " Then, what if you have to play them anyway? Aren't you mentally already defeated?

    Thunder can only finish 6th or 7th...they cannot finish 8th anymore.. the okc vs Gs matchup is out the window.

    So lets hope the Rockets get to 2 and get spurs

    Or stay at 3 and get spurs.

    That would be super ideal.

    this all sounds so pathetic almost makes me think it's just being forced by silver to get the "right" WCF schedule (HOU vs GS)
