http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MU5IYy3XfKs&feature=player_embedded british commentary, watch last round and post fight. interesting...
i think they are a good 3rd party you now. mexicans (i'm one)/latinos might lean to marquez and from what i've seen non-mexican americans tend to lean pacman. he's got the nice guy routine. these guys you hope don't have an interest either way. just boxing fans watching a match with no horse in the race. if you watch, amir khan (pacmans teammate) was commentating and even he was saying that pacman was struggling and probably lost the fight. in fact he mentions just before the scores are announced, he wants to fight marquez if he wins. even his teammate thought he lost and was challenging the winner!!! hell, it look like pacman and his team thought he lost from their reactions to the announcement. -edit- one last thing... it has to be frustrating as hell!!!! to put together a game plan and execute almost to perfection and still lose. i mean juanma is 38 years old fighting the best thing since sliced bread and it was an amazing plan and execution and yet another loss. same thing happen in mayweather/de la hoya but in that case the tactician won.
I would agree the Brittish telecast would have a bit less bias than a spanish/mexican/filipino channel but the main commentator seemed to be favoring Marquez. While I agree with him on a lot of rounds but if you actually watch that fight in MUTE. I think its pretty close. At first I thought Marquez won convincingly but watched certain parts with out the guy going crazy. It seemed quite a bit different.
No. I actually didn't watch ur video. Whenever I see them call fights, there isn't any enthusiasm like lampley
