Good luck, best wishes for a speedy recovery. Enjoy the morphine clicker.

My cousin had undiagnosed health issues for years until she had her gall bladder removed recently. She's been doing a lot better, must be a relief to finally know what was wrong and to feel healthy again.

Good luck man! Get ice cream or whatever good you want. I know that doesn't help in anyway but your friends/family better be accommodating yo!

Had mine out 4 years ago. Went in through emergency (a couple of weeks before surgery was scheduled) at about 10pm, was out and home the next morning.

Hardly had any pain after, except some gas they used to expand my abdomen escaped up to my shoulder, but I just took some meds and it was all good. Was up and about in a couple of days.

    Good luck!

    Good luck, brah.

How does that effect your body in the future? Is it like getting tonsils removed?

My dad had this done when I was younger. We were scheduled to go on a cruise to celebrate my brother's high school graduation, and 3 days before my old man started having terrible pains. It was so bad that we thought it was a heart attack and took him to the ER. Eventually they figured out that it was his gallbladder, and he was in surgery soon after to have it removed.

Just a few days after surgery he was on a plane to Miami and went on the 7 day cruise. He was completely fine, as I'm sure you will be to. That was about 20 years ago and he hasn't had any problems as a result of it. Good luck!

Hope you have someone who can look after you for a week, shouldn't be doing any kind of lifting or much moving around at all.

My GF had this done last year and all was fine, just an ache in the shoulder where the air was making its way out.

I'm assuming your having this done keyhole, which is a lot easier recovery-wise.

Good luck, hope it goes well.

Oski, I have the exact same story as Harrisment (minus the cruise part and stuff.)

And they're much better at it now than they were back then.

I know I'm headed toward this surgery, since the last three generations before me all had theirs out, and I already get some pains there if I eat a big fatty meal.

    #BeWell. Update us later.
