    February in the southern hemisphere is summer.

    June/July/August is winter.

    Colombia is above the southern hemisphere. Unless your in the moutains it's nice and tropical year round.

    When I was in Iquitos, I met some European and Australian shoestring
    travelers and all to the person said "you have to go to Colombia, it's
    cheap, safe and by far the best women in South America".
