Saw the DIAMOND, huh? That's how the ultrasound nurse said it to us... "that diamond shape means there are TWO X chromosomes." HEALTHY? Alive and kicking? That's all that matters. That's good enough! Ten more for the soccer team, leroy420.
Yeah, don't get me wrong I am definitely not disappointed or anything like that the only thing that matters to me at the moment is the health of the two going through it.
Not yet, although I joke with her about names like Mildred and Gretchen and Gertrude. LOL! We know or are related to people with those names.
Not bad at all, the only thing is certain smells tend to make her sick such as sweet smells or fried food smells.
My wife is dealing with that. With the first pregnancy, chicken stock made her want to hurl. That sucked because she's a cook and was around it a lot. This time her sense of smell is even worse. She's fine with chicken stock, but anise flavors make her nauseous. No pho, which we both normally love. Not that the diaper pail smells pleasant, but my wife can't be anywhere near it these days. I get to dispose of almost all the diapers, and I can't ever leave that door open. She's not really hormonal. Certainly not a 9 month PMS. She can be moody and a bit more high maintenance, but it's not all like it's played up in popular culture. Of course every woman and every pregnancy is different.
Just don't pick Anita or Ima. I know a woman named Anita who married a man with the last name of Dick. I know of a woman named Ima who married a man with the last name of Hogg. Ima Hogg and Anita Dick are not names you want your daughter winding up with. We find out next Friday if we're having a boy or a girl. I can't wait!
Congrats man! Kids will change your life for the better. Get ready for Everyone Is An Expert On Raising YOUR Kid My advice: Trust your instincts.
I know you don't like me much but don't sandbag me man. Would you describe it as 9 months of no PMS or kinda 9 months of a limbo slight PMS situation.
We haven't been through nine months yet and I've been told she only gets worse as time goes along. Right now I would describe it as no PMS but in the coming months who knows.
Every pregnancy is different. But my wife got better around month 4 the first time around and this time. She'll start to really feel it as it gets warmer. The first time around, my wife had to manage through the entire summer. At least this time, she'll pop in mid-June and won't have to struggle through August in Austin.
