Pork is BBQ. Texans have been bbq'ing the wrong animal. You take that beef brisket to the Memphis In May BBQ Contest, I think they'd have to put you in the "other" category along with the bbq'ed alligator, squirrel, and whatever else.

 

coleslaw on a hot dog is actually really good. I usually pick up some slaw at KFC to put on my dogs when I grill them at home. Don't knock it till you've tried it.

 

It's not our fault other states can't afford cattle.

I live in North Carolina right now, and the BBQ here SUCKS. I don't care about how you can freaking tell what latitude of the South your freaking BBQ sauce comes from just by looking at the percentage of freaking vinegar vs stupid mayonnaise.

Yes, you heard me. THEY USE VINEGAR AND MAYONNAISE IN THEIR BBQ SAUCE.
