Yea...tell that to Ford. Usually cars have some kind of minor issues early in their life. I haven't had any. Also, put in the proper context with early production line problems, I meant to really convey that I haven't had any issues with the transmission which meant to imply that I thought they had corrected the problem early on. Albeit, I may be uninformed of a bigger picture here.
I've heard nothing but extremely positive reviews of those new-generation large crossovers from GM (the Saturn/GMC/Buick/and soon a Chevy). Car & Driver and others have had nothing but very positive things to say about them, in fact one of those magazines proclaimed them as the best line of SUVs ever made by GM. Personally, the Buick is the one I find to be the most appealing, although I did really like the GMC Acadia that I saw at the auto show earlier this year. It was very roomy and very well-appointed, which is in line with the products GM has been pushing out as of late.
not necessarily. honda, toyota, subaru, nissan (to an extent), infiniti, lexus, acura are all reliable. as another poster pointed out, i feel the toyota quality is a bar below what it used to be. might be because toyota/honda are being manufactured in the usa vs japan.
I honestly don't know if it's a recurring issue or if it's just a case of the unhappy people being louder. i just saw more then a few cases of people being upset with the transmission so it scared me away. that said, i've seen a couple good deals on used 07 v6 camrys so i may look at them again because i do really like the new body styling.
Nice choice man. Congrats. GM's quality is a lot better than it used to be. I've been in an 07 Avalanche for over a year now and it's been nothing but awesome.
