I don’t see the hype about Franz… Giddey can’t shoot for shiii… Green is still the second best prospect from that draft but Alp is heads and shoulders above everyone else right now.
Barnes cant shoot and his D took a step back last year. I like Mobley but he began to suck towards the end of the year last season and was awful in the playoffs against the Knicks. Wagner is overrated and shooting the ball like azz so far this season Giddey is also overrated. He cant shoot at at all. Green is a flawed player but has shown a higher upside than everyone above him on the list Cade was pretty impressive before the injury. He’s having a terrible season on a trash team but I think he can turn it around..

Idk if Green will get to that level or not. It’s not for a lack of talent tho. My main concern with JG is that he doesn’t have a lot of presence on the court like others with his talent level. It comes off like he doesn’t want it bad enough kinda like an Andrew Wiggins when he was on Minnesota. That said, he’s still only 21 and can maybe develop that part of his game with the right coaching and maturity. Jayson Tatum kinda came off like that too when he was younger, so that gives me some hope, especially considering he was also coached by Ime…
Barnes I do not have a problem with but I have to include his abomination of a second season. Even if Fred and Nurse played a role in it.
One guy I think is interesting who no one is mentioning is Jalen Suggs. He doesn’t put up gaudy counting stats, but he has become one of the best defenders in the league (top 5 defensive rating), has massively improved his 3 ball, and is a big reason why the Magic have taken the next step.
The Pistons have the worst damn roster construction and spacing of all time, so I think a lot of you guys are underrating Cade. For me it is: 1. Alperen 2. Scottie/Mobley 3. Cade/JG/Franz I am still waiting to see who emerges from the pack in group 3. I suspect that Udoka might have JG locked in group 2 by season’s end.
I've kept my eye on Suggs. I'm glad he's at least found his way as a role player on the Magic but I don't think most would draft him at 5 again.
Efficiency is too much stressed, dude is winning games now.....if you take efficiency and where the Raptors still are I take the Magic seed every darn time, 2x on Sundays. And I credit players that helped them get to that spot. Cole Anthony's must be at an All time now though.......just a draft class prior to the 2021.....dude dropping his left and right.
