You always gotta watch out for the Warriors, you never know when Larry Hughes will attempt a no look pass only to see the ball fly into the stands. I mean that's a dangerous situation that everyone needs to look out for...
Okay, BGM, you'll be glad to know that with the beginning of training camp, the Warriors have let the media see some of the experimental techniques they're using to improve Hughes's court vision as he makes the transition to PG:
everyone will pass the grizz. even the bulls. but damn D.S. - first the rodman comment, then this? ouch...did mcdyess kick you or something?
Ya'll are the one's who signed Isiah, ya'll can't blame me for that one. Hey, I like the contributions of Nugs and Warriors posters, and hopefully your teams' with throw a more than a few W's our way next year, so I want ya'll to hang around here. If Denver and the Warriors were in the East, ya'll might very well finish ahead of Micheal Jordan's team. How's that for tossing you a few bones???
Warriors 2-0 in preseason after blowing out Lakers, 113-88 Golden State came out of the locker room at intermission and outscored Los Angeles, 38-13. The Warriors forced three shot-clock violations and an 8-second backcourt violation in disrupting the Lakers' vaunted offensive flow.... The Warriors rode the Lakers into the ground with 15 steals, multiple fastbreaks and crowd-pleasing dunks. The pro-Los Angeles crowd was particularly impressed with Jason Richardson's 360-slam following a steal that put Golden State up, 94-60, with nine minutes left in the game.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Originally posted by Desert Scar Swoopa, I can say positive things about the .....#1. I really believe .....they have a shot at the McNuggets too--especially if the latter gets a key injury or two (e.g., McDyess)....-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Man, McDyess is expected to be out until like February. I was just using a hypothetical example at the time. The Nuggets are SUNK this year. Too bad for McDyess and them. Helps us, by my account it is a pretty sure thing McDyess won't be playing in 3/4 of our games.
OK, guys, this is serious. For the first time in 2 1/2 years, the Warriors' injured list contains only players who are there just because they're at the bottom of the depth chart, and not 'cause they're really injured. The entire projected 12-man active roster is healthy. Of course, this must mean someone's about to get hurt getting off the team bus on opening night ... In the meantime, now GS fans get to find out if our coach can really coach. In what may be an ominous hint as to the answer, Bob Sura is starting in the backcourt.
Rookie hype time! (photos and captions courtesy of nba.com) Portland's Dale Davis introduces rookie Troy Murphy to the NBA...... ...and Murphy introduces himself to Dale Davis Someone should tell Davis ... you can't intimidate someone who goes up against Danny Fortson every day in practice.
Warriors record back-to-back blowout wins on East Coast road trip Look at the first post in this thread ... I tried to warn you all almost five months ago. Say what you want about our talent, but we're healthy, we're deep, we're pissed off, and we're too dumb to know we're not good enough to win. At least winning against His Majesty in D.C and in The Media Capital Of The World should get us a little bit of respect. Four victims down, more coming.
