quality big men are hard to come by.. especially ones as skilled as yao. you dont just TRADE them away.. especially for a terry and parker.. even if you manage to find 2 or 3 guys that will actually give you equal value as yao.. you dont need to further clutter our already crowded roster spots.. only way you trade yao is if you can get a significant upgrade at a position and package one of my our filler players to make the trade fair.. That way if we need, we can always pick up a new player from NBDL, waivers, or free agents, ie chuck hayes, lonny baxter.

the truth is, none of this is even relevant. les would never trade his money cow.

I postulate that this idea is so stupid and ridiculous as to not deserve even the least of debates.

Whether you're talking about actual trades or the principle of a trade, terrible idea.

    Arrgh!

Once and for all, the Rockets would not trade Yao either now or in the next few years unless they were offered one of these players in return:

    LeBron James
    Kevin Garnett
    Dirk Nowitzki
    Tim Duncan
    or maybe, just maybe
    Jermaine O'Neal
    Dwight Howard

And I seriously doubt that any such offers would ever be made. Yao isn't going anywhere.

Dwight Howard? I'm not sure about that.
Amare on the other hand would be a possibility.

Now, only Yao is a big money for this team. T-Mac was over because of his back. It Rocket do want to change the team, trade Yao will be their only choice.

You must be from another team!! If not you have no idea of talent and you must be uinable to see the intangables that Yao Ming brings to the Rockets.
If Yao was put on the market he would be gone in a flash.

This is what happens when you put a really small brain inside a YOF's skull.

Insults are not required. If you have any legitimate beef [views]with what I said
please post so that the question can be expanded /debated.

Textbook gutless, spineless maneuver by a young, immature YOF. My favorite gem was your use of the word "we" and "us", as if handing Yao Ming to one of the teams with the best record in the league would improve "us". Um, it would improve "you", dude. It would improve your Yao Ming fanhood. As if you would even give a rat's ass about the Rockets after such a trade.

This post comes with the added benefit of posing as an actual Rocket fan in order to rile up other YOFs, as if we want to trade him.

What is it about you that makes it so you can not handle criticism of Yao in any form or fashion? Why is it that every time the times get tough for Yao, you want Yao in the uniform of a team that is already winning just fine without him? I remember when the Kings and Lakers were the preferred destinations.

Fan: Damn, Yao should have had that rebound!
YOF: You think Yao should have had that rebound? Fine then! Trade him to the Lakers!
    Fan: WTF?
