Read the bottom of that post before posting. Believe what he said or not, RP never issued a statement like this, that's the point of the post. Anyone can have a change of heart, you can't blame that, but how you do so is the key. If you change your mind, you change your mind. Don't wait until signing day to have a "suprise." You don't RSVP for a wedding and then call on the day of and cancel, it's the same thing. Only bigtexxx can turn anything into a UT bash. Why do you hate UT so much and why are you so obsessed with us? If you hate us so much, don't post anything, and if you do, at least try to hide your bias view like Haven said, so at least people thing you have something worthwhile saying rather than just your usual pointless rant. But then again, I guess I'm falling into your game.
No problem, I can honestly say that UF fans aren't too distraught over the loss. It was nice to have an early commit, so that we knew we had a 4star QB already signed though. Especially since Snead runs a similar spread-option based offense at his HS. However, UF fans were concerned over a logjam at the QB spot with incoming recruits. Obviously, everyone at UF wants Tebow as their #1 choice for their QB recruit. Picking up Schaeffer would be advantageous since we need an experienced QB that can run to make this offense work - Leak just isn't cutting it. Overall, no disappointment because we are still likely getting Schaeffer, Tebow, or both. Will be watching Texas to see how Snead develops though.
Tebow is apparently down to Bama and Florida. I think that Josh Portis is going to surprise some people by the time it's all said and done. Urban recruited him since he was at Utah, then got him to switch to UF when he changed jobs. Portis has good size, arm, and mobility from what I've seen.Tim Tebow, is the real deal though. He's athletic and has a cannon.

Boy I'm glad we got another QB. We still have Colt McCoy and Sharrod Harris under schloarships, but Snead is the 4-star QB we've been waiting for. I was worried about our QB situation after VY leaves, but I this this class alone is the most talented class MB has broought in.
