Honestly, I haven't been this impressed by a Longhorns team since T.J. Ford's last season.

This team is just putting it on everyone that gets in their way.

Musburger's slobbing all over this team's knob... the guy's such a Texas homer.

Rece Davis just called it a "Hall of Fame performance in the first half," and labeled Texas a "GREAT team."

Hubert Davis just said it was the "best half of basketball" he's seen all season.

    Hook 'em.

Hamilton is a friggin' stud. I cannot believe how much he's progressed since last year. Rebounds, steals, McGrady like shots. Sucks we'll lose him for next year. We would have an insane team!

Our D, where did this even come from?

Haha I've watched Musburger for so many years and I would admit also that he's a Texas homer. He loves the football team.

This defense is so great... and that's probably an understatement.

Defense is awesome, no doubt about it, but let's not get ahead of ourselves here. You're playing against a high school team. We scored 17 freaking points in the 2nd half against Nebraska last game.. That's 5 field goals. freaking 5. We are the most overrated team in the country. We have a bunch of nutless soft primadonnas getting pushed around by Texas. BCG is rolling in his grave.

A&M is definitely struggling. It seems like every time they get into their game plan on offense and Texas does something on defense to counter it, they aren't able to regroup and get back into a set. They've also missed some quality looks but that just maybe a result of a shooting slump (not taking anything away from Nebraska but A&M had some good looks in that game to). I would be frustrated with that team just as you are.

There was one play near the end of the first half that pretty much epitomized the Texas defense. One Aggie player made a move to the basket, and before he could get halfway to the paint, he had 3 guys surrounding him. Literally the only option the Aggie player had was to throw a cross court pass, and when he did, Tristan Thompson did an excellent job of filling in the gap and forcing a rushed shot. The defensive activity by this Longhorns team is second to none.

And as I'm typing this Jordan Hamilton turns beast mode on. Seriously, this guy is ridiculous.

Great team game again. Coach Barnes has got these kids giving their all for both quarters. Awesome to watch!

There would need to be four to be quarters. ;)

UT's defense has been amazing all game long. A&M can't even finish a wide open dunk.

Any chance of a guy like Dogus Balbay being drafted late 2nd round? The guy can't shoot worth **** but he's a guard version of Chuck Hayes. Also rarely turns it over.

It would be cool to see Tristan Thompson stick around another season and develop a "LaMarcus Aldridge" like jump shot/outside game.

No way he gets drafted. A guard that can't shoot from more than 6 feet or so is pretty much a disaster in the NBA.
