part of what made the astros world series so special was those years of misery, i believe the astros set a record for most losses over a 3 year period? Would be cool to break the record, all records are cool in their own way
You know what's funny. Being the worst team in the league and ending up with a draft pick in the 20's.
I'm sure Tilman has something planned to bribe Silver with. I'm guessing free appetizers for life or something along those lines.
Agreed, at this point they can win one, lose three and easily stay in the bottom (top) three teams. No need to go in the NBA record books, be a top story on CNN, have Silas go on The View to talk about how it feels, etc. Setting a 50+ year team record is enough.
This is exactly my point. Rockets can do bad without doing historic bad. The franchise is above average overall, perhaps Top 5, but there's logical rebuttals for the contrary.
Exactly. Normally to get a player of James' caliber a team must lose games, suffer a bad season(s), and rebuild, but the Rockets didn't have to do that. Judging your first post, it sounded like you'd rather went through torture before acquiring Harden. The Rockets don't need a 26-game losing streak to regain strength.
Hopefully a chop with MINN so no infamous record. Starting to get some separation with #4 to stay in in the BTM 3 so maybe we can have a little winning streak at some point and still finish BTM 3 . These young guys need to taste victory occasionally.
