No no no. They kept him out of the game last night because he doesn't play on the second game of a back to back. Kinda like Duncan and T-Mac. They want to keep him fresh for the playoffs. Let's face it, it's the playoffs that really matter.
half a milllllyyyyyy, half a milllyy millly millly mmmmillly mmillly , half a millly why there no videos of fortson passing and shooting and ummm doing other basketball stuff!?
I think it's quite disingenuous to say he got a "2 year" deal. The Rockets basically gave him guaranteed money for the rest of the season in return for a non-guaranteed 2nd year. This way if he somehow play well and get a good offer elsewhere, we don't have to pony up real money. And if he sucks the Rockets just cut him whenever they want.
Dude isn't really reliable, but good for him to have a job now hopefully he saves all that cash, because this might be the best paying job he'll have for a while..
Houston Rockets @HoustonRockets The Rockets have assigned guard Courtney Fortson to single-affiliation NBA D-League partner Rio Grande Valley.
Good, now let's sign Boykins for the whole season, we need a healthy veteran out there in case Lowry doesn't come back or one of our PGs get's injured during the playoffs.
I think they won it all two years ago and finished second last year. There are only two games left this season and the Vipers will have to win both to even have a chance to get into the playoffs. Although even if they do win both games, it's still rather unlikely they'll get in.
They were 2-9 when they were forced by Morey to play Marcus Morris. They were 21-16 in games when they were not forced to play Marcus Morris.
