after a couple days of deep conversations, I think we're back to where we were before. We'll keep trying this long distance thing but she knows if she wants/needs more then we can part ways as friends. I've also reiterated that I'm not planting seeds or pursuing other relationships and that I haven't in the past nor do I have any intention to in the future. Time will tell if she's able to put the doubts aside and trust again but I've done all I can do with regards to being open and honest and asking the hard questions we all need to ask ourselves. Thanks for the input clutchfans!
Do you honestly foresee yourself still being with this person 5 years from now? If the answer is no, I would just break it off. Easy for me to say since I'm not emotionally involved, but this is how I approach life decisions in my own life. Where do you want to be 5 years from now instead of 5 days from now.
