I was responding sarcastically to what I took to be a sarcastic post. I don't think 18 shots is unreasonable for Kobe, even if he isn't shooting particularly well (in this case, 6-18).

However, you have to be a pretty blind Kobe homer not to have noticed that over the last several years (and through most of his career, in fact), the Lakers record is much worse when Kobe shoots 20+ times than when he shoots fewer than 20 times. It is inexcusable when he shoots 10-27 and Gasol and Bynum go a combined 11-17.

He's jealous and bitter his team and his players are not as good as Kobe and the Lakers and don't taste the success the Lakers do

Yeah, he did, although THE BEST CLOSER IN THE GAME did have four turnovers, an airball three, and gave up a four point play (dagger) down the stretch.

It's sad how the Clippers have fans. Worst organization in the league, just join the Lakers bandwagon...

I think a lot of Clippers fans are exactly the people who HATE the Lakers bandwagon.

    Exhibit A: clippy

Kobe has earned the right to play his style, he has 5 rings to back it up. They are players who like to defer in clutch time, and blame the teammates for not making them afterwards. Kobe's better than that.

Lakers were 4-7 in their last 11 regular season season games this time last year. Never underestimate the heart of champion.

So Kobe has earned the right to chuck up shots and be a ballhog, that's his style. Actually you're right, that is his style.

MJ was a ballhog and didn't play much triangle in 4th quarter. You do whatever it takes to win, ballhog or not.
