http://www.carolinahuddle.com/forum...78-just-saw-david-carr-stonecrest-target.html some funny quotes from that thread It took them what, 3 games to see that he sucks? How long did it take you Texans fans?(blame the o-line, blame casserly) 4 years lmao.
Yeah like... how could they have figured it out any other way? I mean Panther fans obviously had no idea who he was before he came here.
To be fair, I think Carr actually got WORSE. And anyways, Panthers suck. Texans still in the playoff hunt.
Yea because for some strange reason the Panthers are the only team in the nfl who didnt already know that David Carr has somewhat of a tendency to get sacked. The idiot here is you, who isnt a texans fan or a panthers fan, but likes to spend his days reading panthers forums and posting their threads for texans fans to read...
Like it was mentioned, I really think Carr has gotten worse in Carolina. I watched a couple of his games and they were much more horrifying than when he was wearing steel blue. As for the Panthers fans "figuring" Carr out...first off, they have 5 years of footage of Carr while he was a Texan. Secondly, on a weekly basis, Texans fans go over there and give them all the information they need on Carr. I don't see what it is that they figured out...that wasnt already known.
ummm...remember the Pats game last year??? how about the Oakland game and the negative passing yardage??
He definitely has gotten worse. Hell who knows maybe all the sacks really got to his head. Who knows if he went to another system maybe he would have been better, we will never know. At the moment we can clearly say the guy just doesn't have anything left. He's done in the league. Hell if a 40+ year old guy who hasn't played in so long is a better option than you, that has to tell you something.
other best part of that thread http://www.carolinahuddle.com/forum/image.php?u=1284&dateline=1185536532
Yeah, at least he had nice passes or strong throws every now and then. Not sure how much of Carolina youve watched this year, but Carr looks more lost than Ive ever seen him. He seems to not only suck at throwing the ball, but he doesnt seem to have the same zip he used to. This year: 53.7% completion - Averaged 60% as a Texan...and that includes his rookie year where he completed a career low of 52.5% Average Yards per Attempt - 4.7. Never in his career was he less than 5.8 (his rookie year). That is a HUGE drop off, even if his sample size as a Panther is small. QB rating - 58.3. His rookie year rating was 62.8. As a Texan his rating was well over 75. Shoot, his 2006 year he posted an 82.1 rating (which includes the games you mentioned). So yes, I did watch him as a Texan and Ive watched him as a Panther. Ive witnessed his major suckitude with my eyes and the numbers back up my assessment. David Carr has regressed.
LOL. Yeah, I've never understood the sports fan fascination of how someone clearly knows something because a player plays for their team... or how professional teams should always lock down talent from their own city. It's almost like there are these things called televisions and computers where you don't have to be in the same city to follow a team, along with statistics on every Web site in the world! We're not in 1940, folks.
LOL...too bad you're not smarter than either team's fan. it didn't take the Panthers' fans 3 games to realize he sucks, it took them 5 years and 3 games. they already knew what he did in Houston. LOL
Carr is smarter than all of us. He's gotten paid more money to suck than pretty much anyone in history.
