I don't see that as a dig about Carmelo specifically. Coaches say all the time that their team played selfishly (Adelman did after quite a few Rockets losses this season), and Smith might just be reiterating it.

    Carmelo on the Rockets? OK.

JR Smith on the Rockets? NO THANKS! Just say no to knuckleheads.

Earl Smith's captors must have let him out to post on his twitter because he hasn't been seen since the end of the regular season.

Carmelo shot 50% yesterday and made all of his free throws. He didn't have a bad game, either JR's jealous or he's not talking about Melo?

Well maybe he meant he held the ball to much.
He did have 9 turnovers, but nobody else on the Nuggets was stepping up.

I think its more a sign of George Karl not being around. Its players trying harder to motivate themselves with "coach-speak". I dont think its a direct jab.

Coming from the guy who let his driver take all the blame for a prank gone grown on a teammate, that he himself probably planned

From what I gathered both Melo and Billups were both saying Im trying to win, and its not time to be concerned about hurt feelings.

Looks to me like someone hasnt been listening ala JR and probably Nene who disappears frequently in the post season.

Dantley's post game interview looked like he didnt care to be there and wanted to go home to liquor up.

The team isnt a team right now, Billips jacking up 3's like his old self Pre Larry Brown, KMart chucking up contested floaters, Nene nowhere to be found, and JR not caring unless he gets to shoot a 3 or a dunk.
