There was a thread several years ago where someone simply changed the Lakers jersey cut into a Rockets jersey. It was new, but simple and classic. I fell in love with it but i could never find it again. Combine those jerseys with the court a few pages back and OMG! j*zz in my pants, i will.

Love it, good job, you combined yours and his work, correct? Something can be done with the white text on white background though
That Rocket has a lot of potential. I don't know how to work it into Photoshop, but i'm going to try and draw up some things and scan them when i have time.
Something bothers me about that logo, it just lacks some punch, all the colors seem to blend a bit too much for my taste. If you could make the middle letters stand out more, maybe black trim? DD
DaDa is right. I was actually thinking on rotating the ball a bit, and use the n to flow into the inner part of the ball? Does that make sense? Maybe the the trail of the rocket could have a fading effect. I don't know, little things here and there to really make it POP!
Perhaps it sounds cheesy, but maybe a smoke coming from the rocket effect fading into the fire color that flows up to form the "n" at the top? I just feel the white on the inside is too empty.

i mean we havn't had any changes to our logo or uniform theme since 2003-2004...aren't we due for a change in scheme/logo? its been quite some time and also with the other teams making changes, shouldn't we? les doesn't strike me as someone who really cares about that kind of stuff. i mean we had to endure the LONGEST TIME with the dildo pajamas theme.
im liking the red/black/grey color scheme.....i like the championship colors, but let's face it, they're hard to wear. The retro logo with red/blk/grey would give us a new look with an old feel andmerchandise would move quickly.
I don't get why people want to change to color scheme to red - black - whatever. Red and black is Portland, not Houston. Red - white - yellow is Houston and I don't see why you'd want to change that. I mean I get that (red) and yellow is 'hard to wear, but that's why you use the yellow moderatly. I like josephnicks' court design, though I'd prefer a colored paint. It just looks better IMO. I'd also like to integrate a little yellow somewhere. Similiar to this (please exuse my MSPaint skills).
Umm clearly i'm not any good at this. Nice work - impressive PS skills of adding in the skyline. Def not an amateur take at it. I like it, but my main concern all along has been not to use too much yellow and it seems I've also slowly been moving back in that direction too. Need to find the right balance.
