'Lock Up All The Black Hoodies': DOJ Report Details Abuses By Baltimore Police

I'll let someone who cares do the legwork and report anything that matters. I'm guessing they won't find very much worth a damn or I'd have heard about it by now.

This is just... just... I mean really! They have a literal template for police harassment.

Everyone just wants cops to do their without being racist and assholes. Is that sooo hard? Is it impossible to be a police officer without without being a dick?

 

This is exactly the challenge being faced. Wanting the police to do their jobs AND wanting them to not be racist, force abusing assholes are not two contradicting desires. And plenty of police officers manage to operate without the contradiction.

 

The problem is that even when they are just doing their jobs without being racist assholes, the assumption is that they are being racist assholes anyway.

It was the assumption in Furguson even though the officer involved in the Micheal Brown case was just doing his job.

It was the assumption in Baton Rouge even though they were just doing their job.

It was the assumption in Baltimore in the Freddy Grey case even though there was no evidence of it and the officers most directly tied to the case were black

It was the assumption in Chicago in the Paul O’Neal case despite no evidence of that.

Basically when cops do their jobs and it involves black people, there is the presumption of racism. Like the cops made the person break the law or attack the cops.

On top of that, when cops DON'T do their jobs and just let neighborhoods go to hell....there's also a presumption of racism. It's a lose-lose situation so really you just have to ignore the r****ds accusing everyone of racism and move on with life.

 

The D&D is full of racist scum with a racial political power that backs it up via culture and history from the past. Why would it be offensive to call these people 'rednecks'? It's what they are.
