So...the government taught him how to use an AK basically. I get that it was so they could use it as additional evidence, but seriously some of their tactics have already backfired.

Sharpstown Mall doesn't even exist anymore, it's Plaza de las Americas now and a bomb would make it look any different.

Local area real estate developers would appreciate the opportunity.

Maybe I'll get a response here ASAP

So where exactly does sharpstown start and end?

If you're on 59 S, is it from Hillcroft all the way past Bissy until beltway 8?

From Westpark Tollway to the north, Interstate 69/U.S. Route 59 and Bissonnet to the south, Beltway 8 to the west, and Hillcroft to the east.

Kinda what I was thinking. Galleria, okay, that makes sense. Lots of people, lots of money, the unofficial center of Houston, the traffic jam it'd create would terrify all the people not terrified by the bomb itself. But, Sharpstown? One, it isn't called Sharpstown Mall anymore, but isn't also half-abandoned, in the middle of nowhere, and mostly working-class hispanic? Why would anyone want to terrorize that place? And would the news even report on it?

That's what I was thinking, shook my head when I first heard the news, I drive by there several times a week and there's hardly any traffic or activity there. Now back in high school in the 80s, that place was hopping, but now...why would that even be a target? lmao

Stay away from Katy landmarks like Starbucks and Panera Bread. Surefire targets!

I found myself driving past there on Christmas Eve on the way to Chinatown and the parking lot was absolutely packed.
