I agree with this rating.

Clyde is the absolute worst out there and used to really dig Bill but he is just senile right now. Bull is ok I guess.

 

Yeah we are pretty much #30. GS and Clippers are horrible, should be 28,29.

I actually watch the other teams feed for games because Clyde Worrell and Bull are that bad. Really miss Murphy he's one of the best and he has a true passion for this team!

Sean Elliot etc.., so many worse than Clyde. Yea he's bad but the people complaining about Clyde whining, are in fact, really the ones whining. If you're watching a Rockets broadcast...guess what? You're going to get it through the eyes of rocket fans. Fans around the league can stfu.

 

Dont see how Boston is nowhere near that bottom ranking. Absolutely turribal

 

Clyde is among the worst but there are others as bad as him. Scott Hastings here in Denver is the single worst for me, no one complains like him.

I still think Bull is one of the best local guys out there

and Bil gets a pass for his recent performance because he is a legend

 

Rockets are pretty bad but Spurs and Cavs are worst.

Disagree with this at least. I don't think they're THAT bad.

 

Bill wears them rockets red glasses for sure. Definitely living in the past. Clyde doesn't bother me much, he just says 'yeah I would've just dunked that' to everything. He would've but that's not really analysis. Bull kills me because when I hear him on the radio talking to pallilo he's smart, he's funny and he shoots straight. He gets on tv and he turns into bills goober sidekick....

I think they just don't know how to move on from the old guard.

 

I dislike Drexler and Bull....but Bill Worrell is a gem.

We really should go back to he and Calvin Murphy.

 

The Rocket's commentators are trully awful. I get disgusted by them a lot of times and have to search for another feed if possible.
But even worse is the Celtics. I can NEVER watch a Celtics game with that disgusting man. I rather not watch at all than have to endure his bullcrap.

Drexler is beyond awful and is right up there with Sean Elliott and Tom Heinsohn.

I like Worrell, sure he is a homer but I don't think it is brutal. There are worse. But sadly for Worrell, Drexler brings him down.

 

Hard to be good when the team you're rooting for is this bad.

They had the same expectations the rest of us had after seeing this team on paper. So many issues were hidden in it including defense, rebounding (even with Dwight, always a problem for the Rockets), passing, turnovers, lack of post/mid range scoring, etc.

 

Say what you will about me, but anytime the Rockets are on national tv, I actually prefer to watch them on Root Sports with Bill, Bull and Clyde.

Are they homers? Absolutely! But so am I, so I don't have any problem with that.

 

This is so dumb. I feel this way about every teams announcers. Why? Because it's their job to be complete homers. Listening to anyone else's team broadcast is no different from ours. You have to understand the ESPN and media machine that created hatred for all things Houston Rockets would lead to them even hating our broadcast team when they are no different from anyone else in the league. Just give a listen to the other teams and you will know what i mean. The hate is hilarious at this point. All thanks to Dwight i suppose. Big guy taught future players never to **** with their precious LA.

yes they are. You should listen for once to learn what a great commentating is.
The best is the Kings and the Nets.
Rockets and Celtics -> worse.
It's a huge difference.
