[Local] Conservative Talk Radio Host Michael Berry Involved in Hit & Run at Gay Bar

the part that doesn't make sense in this story is the bouncer watching his car get hit and taking a few days to do anything about it.

any bouncer worth his steroids would have fought somebody right then and there.

 

Michael covers himself pretty good when someone lobs a "racist" charge towards him. His wife is Indian and his adopted son is Ethiopian. Going into a gay bar is not a crime nor an admission of being gay, nobody knows what his intention was.

Leaving a scene of an accident is a crime, I'm just waiting for the facts to come out before passing judgment. I don't know why he took down his facebook and twitter? So far it's not looking good for Michael but stay tuned....

I've actually been to a gay bar (was with my then-girlfriend, now wife). I was sexually assaulted by having my buttocks squeezed by a passer-by.

I haven't been back.

BUT, nothing wrong with gay people.

 

For being a closeted gay man who makes a living by self loathing and speaking out against gay rights? Sure.

 

Are you 100% sure that he is gay just because he entered a gay bar?

Now that I have read all the conclusions and asides, posters here may want to reconsider two aspects of the story:

1) The story called it a "hit and run." Not true. A hit and run is known as an FSRA (failure to stop to render aid) because there was an injury. Since there was no injury, it was an FSGI (failure to stop to give information). The first is a felony while the second generally is a misdemeanor.

2) Just because Berry was driving through Montrose does not necessarily mean he is homosexual. Many, many heterosexuals drive through Montrose every day of the week due to its proximity to downtown and the medical center.

Is this another Media Matters style of libel and slander against opposition opinions? I don't know. Do you?
