how about we where the old rocket red unis when we play on the road against "classic" teams that haven't changed their unis and don't have the city names on them like bulls, lakers, celtics.
I posted this 3rd uni design idea earlier, but the server seems to have eaten it. Here's an idea for a 3rd style -- a road uni with "Houston" on it. It uses the same basic design and color scheme, but has black as the dominant color with crimson and silver touches:
Does everyone know that we're not the only team in the NBA where the jersey doesn't have the city name on it. People need to get a life and worry about something else.

The idea of copying other teams' BLACK uniforms is insane. Did we do that before we won the championships back to back? NO. We don't need to copy those other champions from the 90's. Next thing you know HAKEEM will come back wearing number 45. That sucks.
I dont think they need to spend any money or do anything special for a new jersey, they should just have the occasional throw back games and us the retro jersey

I would love to see "Houston" on the jerseys. Or at least that single shoulder strap design like the hip hop girlies wear.
Being a Rockets fan who has never been to Houston (I am in California), I don't really care about whether the city name is on the jersey. However, I love the black color scheme that Topfive created, and wouldn't mind adding those to the Rockets' wardrobe
