When was the last time a star without a team around him won anything in the NBA? Agree with the fact that the best players are in the NBA and that is pretty obvious but many of them are international players and that is undeniable too... Regarding the Rockets the main problem is that they are simply not passing the ball and they are not defending hard enough. To top it off they have just signed one of the biggest ball hogs in the entire league in Kevin Martin though I hope he changes his attitude now he is on a new team. Basketball is a team sport and no star no matter how talented he may be can win games, let alone championships, by himself. Lately you just seem to forget that. Think about the Spurs or any Phil Jackson team and there is the answer.
Thanks! Jives more with what I've been hearing about Llull. I've seen that video clip before. The crowd's going nuts!
Spectacular Llull yesterday in Madrid: http://www.rtve.es/mediateca/videos/20100225/llull-revienta-vistalegre/705188.shtml
I didn't quite get this when I watched the clip. A 5 point lead with 4 seconds remaining and the ball, most teams just hold the ball.
In international play they have a playoff system similar to soccer where your position is based on points scored. They needed to win by 7 because they lost by 7 in the previous game. Our something like that.
