    I've been living out near UTSA for the last two years. It's OK, but I'm not looking for the same things you are. Broadway is the best "cool" neighborhood, but it's a long drive to Boerne. There are a lot of decent places to live that are more in that direction, but not necessarily the kind of lifestyle you're looking for.

    I was going to UTSA - it's just OK to me, but a lot of the younger people really love it. Depends what you're looking for. They are about ready to open up the new phase of the University Center, and the fitness center is great - most amazing swimming area I've ever seen on a college campus and lots of other nice renovations. They're also bringing in a new food service provider which I think will help.

    Myself, I do better in smaller, less urbanized areas and schools - exactly the opposite of what most people my age seem to want. And also why I'm about to move to middle-of-nowhere, Alabama.
