    I say congratulations to LeBron/Bosh/Wade.

LeBron James is the best player in the league, and he deserves to win. It sucks for his hometown of course, but he tried his hardest there and even took them to the finals, but it just wasn't a championship caliber team. I don't blame him at all for leaving Cleveland. In choosing Miami over NY, he shows that it's not all about the money, the guy just wants a ring.

Good luck to Miami, I hope you make it to the finals so the Houston Rockets can take down the SuperTrio.

LeBron, Wade, and Bosh's fantasy basketball value just plummeted.

And this is probably the most nervous you will ever see LeBron in your life.

    Pretty much.

Instead of LeBron staying in CLE, and maybe picking up Carmelo Anthony next year, they aren't going to get any good players at all, unless they get the next LeBron James in the NBA Draft (only to have him leave 7 years down the road.)

Knicks picks just shot up way in value. Top 15 pick from New York probably!

I would rather that he stayed in Cleveland, but better in my mind to have gone to Miami than either New York or Chicago. Good for us and our NY draft picks, and I feel Chicago got all they ever deserved in the Jordan years. I did NOT want to see LeBron in Chicago, although the team would have been a monster.

If nothing else, it will make for an interesting team in Miami, and I"ll personally look forward to what the team does in the near and long term.

The Tim Duncan Contract should be the title of the 3 yr contract. Duncan made it vogue to keep the pressure on management to keep a viable team around him. Duncan almost left to join tracy and hill in orlando, but the spurs kept the commitment to building a winner. All those players who get greedy and sign for 7 years and then after 3 start whining when the team sux should take a page out of the book. Anyone who thinks lebron is a douche, oh well. He put the cavs on the map again and doesn't owe them nothing. He wants to win titles and the team he has isn't good enough nor was the coaching.

Well, I've defended Lebron despite his gigantic ego for years. I can't defend this. There are a lot of children crying in Cleveland right now. And his legacy? Way to go from competing with Michael Jordan to competing with Scottie Pippen. That's Wade's team.

I'd add that had he even left for Chicago or New York, I could have had some respect for that. In New York he'd be taking on the challenge of making the Knicks relevant again. In Chicago, despite all the talent he'd have around him (and I agree with the Wilbon and Barry that Chicago is a better fit even), he'd still be the clear cut alpha dog. But this? He's now Scottie to Wade's Michael. I can't respect that.

Good for Lebron. These three guys are setting a precedent right now. Not often will superstars in their prime will come together like this.

I'm more interested in exactly who they plan to get on playing next to these guys. Lakers still have to be the favorites but f#$king **** it must be exciting to be a Heat fan just thinking about the possibilities. They don't have to win next year but they better be able to get more than 1 out of this. Of course I hope we have something to say about that.

I'm sorry, but this is BS. Lebron WAS the GM of the Cavs. They pretty much built that team the way Lebron wanted to. Kept the guys he liked, etc. Lebron was running the Cavs. And when it turned out that they failed, Lebron bailed.

Then again, that's what happens when you let a player run your franchise. So no sympathy to the Cavs organization. But do feel bad for their fans.

This is actually the best thing for us possible as Rockets fans. The only draw back is playing them in the Finals if we get there. They might end up helping us with these other teams how they gutted rosters and made moves to clear their teams for these guys. Now we have alot to look forward to because Morey stickpiled instead.

By the way, anyone notice when LeBron was rattling off the teams he brought in/was interested in off the top of his head, he didn't even mention New York?

"... what I did for the city of cleveland and the organization"
"I gave a lot to that organization.. my talents..for seven years..."

sounds an awful lot like someone us rockets fans are very familiar with..
