    1) When the only horse he's running against is undersized, produces numbers with extra minutes, and has yet to help the team win jack squat, you win a lot, because if he got to the quarter pole first, he'll win the race 90 out of 100 times.

    2) Who claimed it would?

I think its okay to not like Mo Taylor's game, but to continually bash a player who's return will, regardless of whether you like him or not, undoubtedly help this team (and that's all Jeff's originial post was saying) be it as a starter OR a bench player OR even eventually as possible trade bait, is either really dumb or shows you're more of a player-fan than a team one.

    A) possible trade bait???? I can see the advertisement now..."Underachieving 6' 9" 270 lb power forward coming off career altering injury. Averaged 5 whole rebounds per game in his hey-day so imagine what he will average now. Doesn't take up much bench space due to the amount of time spent in the trainers room. Package includes an MRI machine and a year supply of ice packs."

I am not a player fan. The fact that i DO NOT want to see this guy in a Rocket uniform should prove that to you. I could easily say the same thing to you regarding you being a player fan instead of a team fan because you want this piece of garbage in the lineup so badly. I guess I can conclude that you are a Mo T fan and not a Rocket fan

It doesnt prove anything to me. As bad as you think he is, you have yet to explain in any logical fashion how adding a league experienced frontcourt player to our amazingly weak rotation will harm the team? He is signed, he counts against our cap, get over it. You have yet to say anything but he underachieves, he is this tall yet only gets this many rebounds, and blah blah blah a bunch of times. So? That's player bashing, not cogent analysis of your team's prospect and future.

Even you must admit that when everyone is healthy Mo Taylor is one of the top 8-9 players on the team. First, do you disagree with that - if you dont think he is a top 9 player on he 6th worst team in the league than this argument is pointles anyway? Second, if you agree with the previous statement, how will this player getting healthy again hurt the team?

Jay Z...Langhi (no offense to him) is a top 9 player on the Rockets. Thats not saying much. You must be kidding with that comment.

Mo will improve, albeit slightly improve, our team. My problem is that him being out is not the reason we missed the playoffs this year....nor will him returning be the reason we get to the postseason should that happen. Maybe you forgot, but before Steve went down with PF and missed 6 weeks, we were playing pretty damn well. Hell, Eg wasn't even seeing 10 minutes a night back then. My point is that now that were are lottery bound, it is easy to say how much better we will be when Mo comes back...as if he means to the rockets what Duncan, KG or Shaq means to their teams. My other point is that BECAUSE he has always been an underachiever, coming off a torn achilles will not help his cause. I am pissed about this because we wasted a ton of money on this pile of junk and now we are stuck with him.

If this means that I am a player basher, then maybe I am...though I respectfully disagree.

That is an opinion that I disagree with, but respect.
