recently, at least a couple of months ago, there was a news story in houston about some kids who went there and were robbed at gunpoint, there may even have been shots fired. i'm pretty sure no one was hurt but a robbery did occur. I agree... but be careful there too, those margaritas will knock you off yo @ss...
I got tired of reading so I don't know if anybody posted this yet, but if you're a smoker or an occasional smoker, an interesting place is "Can Yama Cam" on the Richmond strip. It's across the street from T-Town 2000 or whatever it may be called now, like at Richmond and Fountainview or something like that. A little Hookah bar where a waiter comes and serves you drinks and you can smoke this really mild (as in nowhere near harsh - even for non cigarette smokers) flavored-tobacco-brick-stuff out of a big ass hooka bong with tubes and stuff so 4 people can smoke out of the same serving. Interesting atmosphere too.
So, can anyone tell me where that Dick's place is. By the way, it's a nice pun from the way you described the place.
Yup. neato jeff davis pictures Those pictures are from March/April. I'm not risking my life for some good pictures anymore.
nice pictures... thanks, lisa. however, i did notice something strange about this picture in your photo album if you look closely. did you? weird.
You should go to the Aquarium Downtown. Go at like 12:30 on a Saturday. Only kidding. That was funny as ****. He said it so matter of factly.
Gallery Furniture? Nah, Gallery Furniture isn't known to ANYBODY. There's only commercials on the TV and radio every 15 seconds and billboards 10 feet apart from each other
Thanks for all the tips, guys (and gal). I've got some good choices now, and I'm going to check some of them out.
Anyone ever eaten at 100% Tacquito across 59 from Compaq Center. Whenever I'm in Houston I go back to that place, it is awesome. They also have the best Tres Leches for dessert.
Is Mother Dog Studio still downtown? If you like art it's a nice place to go. The artist are usually working while you are walking around so you can talk to them as you look at their work. There are some really nice and some really strange pieces of art there. Last time I was there someone had a whole living room made out of cigarette butts and condoms. That was a while back so I'm sure it is not there anymore. Again they have a lot of strange art and some really nice art too.
Well what would y'all want to have in Houston? Like some place to go every weekend or something....that never gets boring. Any ideas for a fun place that you would like to have in Houston?
