...that b*stard needs to die... mrpaige, This just wasn't a good thread to bring your argument into. No matter what you say, it comes off as horribly rude and insensitive. A 5 yr old girl was butally raped and killed. Not an issue you should use to advance arguments.
It's not a crime untl it is deemed a crime by the proper authorities. Criminality was alleged Wednesday in the case of the Inglewood cop. As I said, all in due time. Criminality was alleged beyond a question of a doubt on Monday in the case of the Runnion girl when she was abducted out of her own yard by a stranger and then again on Tuesday night when they found her lifeless, nude body. Yeah, I'd say the rape/murder of a 5YO girl is much worse than an imprudent punch or other brief rough treatment. Wouldn't you? You see, when you were so busy insulting me for my stance on the Inglewood case, the cop had not committed a crime-- except in your opinion. What is wrong with letting the system work? And please stop these pathetic attacks on me at the expense of the memory of a little girl raped and murdered.
MrPaige...im guessing you dont have kids....am i right? I think your response might be different if you do. Your argument would hold a tiny bit of water had the police found a suspect who they think might be the killer and we were all calling for his head before trial...however, the point of this thread (i should know, i started it) is that WHOEVER did this, should be dealt with in the worst possible way. I agree with Sonny
Anybody ever watch "Curtis & Kuby" on MSNBC? 12 Noon to 2 PM ET I think. Ron (I think) Kuby is one of those high profile defense attorneys and Curtis is Curtis Sliwa (?) of the Red Berets a sort of unofficial safety force in NY. The two represent usually opposing views on about any issue that should come before them. Yesterday, Sliwa asked Kuby what he would do if the Runnion girl had been his daughter and he had "a few moments alone" with the killer. Without hesitating, Kuby indicated that he would want to take him apart piece by piece without a moment's hesitation. I think all were surprised by his answer. He quickly retreated though to touting (rightly so) the American justice system.
