Single handedly? No. We signed lin and Asik. And Parsons got an offseason better.
Even without Harden I think we'd be fighting for that 8 spot. Definitely not better without Harden, but the rest of the roster is a lot stronger than people here think.

I can't tell if Bravefox is trolling (in which case I feel sorry for), or mentally deficient (in which case I also feel sorry for), or 12 (in which case his parents need better parental control on his computer).

Bravefox is like a kid who goes in front of his class and whips out his dick, flings it around and thinks it's funny. About 3 kids in that class thinks that's funny and he gives them high-5s for having the same humor. He then moves on to lecture the other 27 terrorized kids on his genius humor of dick flinging.

The end result is the parents and teachers can't tell if he is a troll, mentally deficient, or just young and going through a phase.

Love harden as a basketball player but I just get the impression that he's a d bag in real life. The Mohawk and the beard screams out somebody starving for attention. Also all of the tricking what kind of loser pays for sex? Why trick 20 k on strippers when I'm sure has women throwing themselves at him everyday. Maybe I'm wrong but I doubt it.

thank you brother you made my day:grin::grin::grin:

but here's also a nice song for you

perhaps it turns him on to pay for sex...(if he does i dont know) or those women are experienced and know how to please him.... if some beauty is throwing herself at him it doesnt mean she is good at what the beard likes...many beautiful women simply suck at sex, as well as, at ability to have a good time...

the beard screams for attention?! the beard is only natural men... its how man are created and meant to be... btw whats wrong with screaming for attention? its only natural...

the point is TEAMBALL ....the point is not that all players become superstars...

and i am not against ISO but the point is BALL MOVEMENT makes ISO effective... if you just give ball to harden its not even true iso its 1 on 2 or 3...and hes terrible at iso lately...

last time i checked the harden was exactly this kind of player... i cant remember when it was when he had a 3 great games in a row... heck i cant remember when it was when he had one great game...

I don't like that Harden is only 5th in scoring, top 10 in steals, and already an aging 23 years old. I also don't like that he's led our team to only the 6,7th seed and that he's too efficient. I wish he didn't have court vision and also wish he didn't get to the free throw line so much. Overall, a clear bust.

People like you said the same thing about MJ before he started winning titles. Yes, yes. I know he only won because of Pippen and the team, right? But superstars are superstars for a reason. Their teams don't consistently succeed without them. Harden isn't on that level yet. He's been very, VERY good all year but he hasn't had enough experience as "the man" on an NBA team.

The fact that you referred to him as a "role player" speaks volumes to me.

This is what Lin said 5 days ago, before the road trip:

“I think for us, we just need to make sure we continue to put all the extra stuff to the side, whether it’s how many points and individual scores, how many rebounds an individual gets or assists,” Lin said. “We have to let the numbers take care of themselves and just play for each other. When we do that, we can be really, really good.”

    http://blog.chron.com/ultimaterockets/2013/04/rockets-report-ball-movement-key-for-rockets-success/

Yet a lot of the replies in this thread are as if the OP did not make a good point. I thought that Harden was passing & playing within the team offense a lot better on the road trip. Maybe they had a team discussion about this.

Although what about that play against the Nuggets 2 on 1 fast break? Harden passed to Lin too late then Lin missed the layup. He should have passed to Lin sooner and then get the ball back.

Anyone who can pull off the Mr T mohawk and beard gets a plus in my book, just because of how ridiculous it is when you think about it.

As for the 20k, because it's cheaper than a relationship, rofl

I remember that play. It was just great defense by Iguodala (I think it was him who was defending.) Harden waited for Iguodala to commit to him so he could pass it off which is the easiest play to make in that situation. When Iguodala didn't commit, Lin and Harden had already lost their opportunity to get the easy bucket. In retrospect, Harden should have attacked Iguodala faster to force him to commit and then hand it off to Lin, or fake a pass to Lin and take the shot.

This team would not be in the play off conversation without harden. Go look at the cavs with lebron. When he sat out they had some huge wins over some of the best teams in the league because the other players were motivated and the competition was taken off guard.

Take away lebron and the team started out pumped up and won a few games, then boom worst team in the league when they ran out of adrenalin. Losing varejo hurt too, but they still would have been awful if he stayed healthy.

No harden is not Lebron but it's a similar situation. This team can rally and win a few games without him, but if all season teams were studying tape on how to limit parsons Lin and delfino, the rockets would be were the suns are.
