Doesn't matter what that guy says. I actually didn't value his opinion and counted him out to begin with because of the whole sour grapes thing... Yeah, I saw someone say that on this board too but couldn't find any legitimate source or report on it.
Harden carrying our team was actually a daily topic of conversation for teams? I'd be curious what that's even about, trying to figure out what he's doing that's causing it?
You know what's really sad and probably a tragedy? We may never again see another player carry his team to such a high level through so much adversity. And Harden may not even win the MVP for it.
A part of me kinda wants to see curry win it over harden then harden just explodes the rest of the playoffs a-la Dream in 1995
It's all about wins and stats. Curry has more wins and has more stats. No one cares about adversity or stories or any of that stuff. They just care about wins and stats.
Actually, every year that MJ didn't win it was about some other "story and other stuff" about a lessor player. It wasn't about Wins and Stats Your turn
Interesting thing about this, Bird/Jordan/Kobe had similar years and all never won it those years. They really need to change the MVP award to "Best Player on Best Team" award.
There's only one thing that matters in basketball... that's that trophy. In a way he felt what it was like winning a trophy during FIBA. I'm sure he has carried that feeling throughout the regular season and so far in the playoffs. He is focused and poised, managing his team and his effort to last though these playoffs. This guy is a true champion.
Exactly, if they wanted the best player on best team why didn't duncan or Kawahi get it when they were the best and Durant got it?
**** I really wish they would give it to Curry and then have Memphis tear golden state a new assshole in the second round meanwhile we destroy whoever we play
