    What teams out there still have cap space to sign him?

    You'd assume someone offers him more than the NT-MLE …. but what teams still have that amount remaining ?

    He’s a restricted free agent, the suns want him to set the market for himself and they will likely match whatever offer her gets

    I've no idea how often they update spotrac, but their cap tracker suggests the only two teams with cap room are the Hawks, with about 4.3 million, and the Kings, with 1.4 ish million. Everyone else is over the cap. https://www.spotrac.com/nba/cap/

    I've no idea at this second who still has which exception available.

    guys can anyone explain what the Rockets are doing or trying to accomplish?
    Morey came out saying that either they trade for a star, or sign a starter caliber player with the MLE? he actually mentioned this in several interviews..
    WHAT the hell are they doing?

    You're right in that there aren't any teams right now that has enough caproom to sign Oubre to a huge offer sheet but he's a restricted free agent so I'm going to assume Phoenix will match anything less than his cap hold ($9.2) without hesitation (hence, a Shumpert S&T).

    Why would a team want us to sign and trade Shumpurt to them? who would be intersted in Shump anyways

    I'm just throwing that scenario out there as a way for us to offer Oubre more than just a NT MLE because, again, Phoenix would surely match any offers Oubre signs that is less than his cap hold right now. In a scenario where we do move Shumpert to Phoenix I'm sure we would have to grease the wheels with a draft pick.

    So at this time, Shumpurt is probably looking for a team that is willing to sign him to a good amount of offer, but would requiere Houston's help to facilitate a trade etc.. Morey is probably to do the Iggy trade with this option

    If it's a S&T Shumpert and one or two 2nd Rounders for Iggy I'm okay with that. But if we're surrendering a 1st? No thanks.
