If Chris Paul didn’t hold grudges Demarcus cousins would be on our team. It’s ashame cuz he’s a low risk high reward.
what makes you think demarcus wants to come here? he would only get the MLE and would not really get to show case his talent for a bigger payday what would honestly be his motivation to come here vs a team who can offer more money and/or more scoring opportunities?
So high reward that all 30 teams are passing right now. That doesn't make you wonder what they know that we don't? Because it's either they've seen/heard the results of his medical reports OR there is another character issue type story that is known among front offices but didn't make it to the press. Something weird is going on here if not 1 of 30 NBA teams wants to give that guy a contract.
I mean it's still relatively early . Players can't even actually sign yet . I'm sure Demarcus is asking for the max . There aren't that many teams with max space anymore and given his injury history im sure teams are hesitant . There are some teams with cap space to sign him over the MLE . But he may not wanna go to those situations . I'm sure almost every team in the league would give him a vet min deal . But , I don't think Cousins is ready to settle for that yet .
(Cough) Collusion (Cough, cough). Though that's going to bite MLB, IMO, before it stings the NBA. Weird that nobody seemingly wants a Cousins that looks like he's shaken off most of the rust from that Achilles injury.
What can I say? I have faith in Paul and Tucker's abilities to kick young players in the head and get them to understand their obligations as players if they want a long career in this league. But see, Marquise Chriss...
Javale McGee and being able to bring in Marcus Morris (I know it's unlikely money-wise) would really fill out our rotation in my opinion. Capela/McGee/Tuck or Morris Morris/Tuck Gordon/House Harden/Rivers Paul/Harden Should be enough for shamorie Ponds to lead to the finals.

Yeah, actually. Most people use "black hole" to mean, 'once the ball goes in to the guy, no one else on their team will see it again unless they get the rebound'. You'd expect a "black hole" to have more like 10 shots per assist, not 2 shots per assist. I agree that he doesn't fit in our offensive system the way Clint does, but "black hole" would be the last phrase I'd use to describe a pass-first center.
Are we trading for iggy or what? Get to the point Morey. Other teams make moves fast like Lakers signed Danny Green and Javale in one setting right after Kawhi was signed. What the hell are we doing?
We're running it back and waiting for buyouts like usual. Morey won't make a trade for Iggy. I doubt Iggy even wants to come here if given the choice, he probably rather go to either of the LA teams where he'll get more money after a buyout. We're going to #RunItBack like last year and ppl here will find another excuse when we have another early playoff exit.
