Of course they're backing down from their stated positions. They're Hollywood celebrities

As is Trump, backing down on his stated positions because he's a Hollywood celebrity

I never said I'd leave, although I said it when Reagan ran in 1980. There wasn't an internet to record that utterance, though. I changed my mind. Ironically, Reagan couldn't sniff the GOP nomination today if he was starting out. Too moderate.

I have a very good friend who lives in BC, but Canada, as much as I love the place (yes, I've been there), is simply too damn cold. I could spend summers there, but once the snow started to fall and the temps to drop, I'd be yearning for some sunshine. Besides, I have two grown sons now (OK, one's still in college) and a house that's paid for. In 1980, when Reagan took the election, instead of moving to Canada, Australia, or some other country not "ruled" by Ronnie, we moved to Austin. It was enough.

There's nothing like running from your problems. At least the Trump die-hards didn't pretend like they would just up-and-abandon this country. Makes you wonder what these "never Trump" people would do when their children tell them they are straight, or conservative, or want to identify with their birth-given gender, or voted for Trump in their school's mock election...well, actually we know what they would do: abandon their family.

    Thank god Hillary lost.

You bring words. I bring a pin.

And with this pin I intend to burst some bubbles. "Mumbo-jumbo"? I'd be appalled if a Trumper did this to their kid if the circumstances were reversed.

Somebody call child services. This is why a lot of black people turned out messed up. I just hope that kid will grow up and realize how much of a monster his mother is and be conservative all his life.

Who cares what they said or what they do? I don't know why it matters. I'd be happy for some of them to move. There are good things about Spain, and Canada. Those are the two places listed by most on the list.
