There are always strengths to the players even with their current perfomances but The wrongs:
Harden : For the first 13 games worse defensive starter of any team except maybe for some dleague scrub from the 6ers. Doesn't give any effort, doesn't know what is transition defence, turns the ball over, doesn't try on rebounds , doesn't communicate on switches, leaves the pnr too early when with Howard, is in a shooting slump.
Lawson : Bad at defence as always , lets his man consistently blow by him, has a high number of turnovers for him, looks lost, hesitates to shoot and when he does it's a brick.
Ariza : Bad communication on defence missing some rotations, drop from last year. And that's about it for Ariza. His other flaws are the same as always.
Dwight: Can't play b2b obviously so messes up with the team developing a consistent chemistry, as usual makes dumb fouls and pretty much the same flaws he always had. Shows effort.
Jones : Made of glass and get freak injuries again this year, the game is too fast for him still and can't make fast decisions, lack of communication on team defence, manages to abuse weak competition but gives nothing when he's up against good frontcourt players. Doesnt help with rebounding.
Brewer : Out of control, turnovers, thinks defence is gambling, can't finish on the fast break ,is completely horrible.
Capella : still hasn't learned positional defence for a center. Expected at his developmental stage and his experience but there's that.
Harrell : rookies shouldn't be judged.
Thornton : very bad defender, incosistent , what he's always been. He's not more worse than usual for him but the same.
Beverley: his usual flaws of no playmaking skill, no vision, no good shooting touch but now added a drop in defence. Gets injured too often as usual.
Terry : OLD. What one would expect for him exactly. He's been performing well given his circumstances. Cant' ask for such an old perimeter player to be good in defence.
Kj : the usual nothing seems to have changed yet. No handles, no high bball iq , turnovers, bad offence. Still in developmental stage and as one would expect for him.

The reason only puppet coaches are welcome here....that stat is pure insanity. I don't actually blame the team though, thats literally all they know how to do. They are mentally disabled on running an offense at this point.

Ty Lawson on Rockets = Dragic on Miami. Just a bad fit.

I don't think it's the moment to judge players level, evidently pretty much everybody is sucking at this moment, but that's not their natural level. Terry sucked a lot yesterday, Thornton, Brewer, Jones, Harden, Lawson.... but should we trade them all?

Team needs a change of habits, needs good practices, needs continuity at the rotations (Dwight in&out mode does not help), needs Pat and D-Mo to come back... eventually all could come together.

Yesterday I liked the instant coach JB inmediately substituted Brewer -for McDaniels- after eating the umpteenth backdoor. Team needs more this kind of gestures from coaching. And this same exigency level at PRACTICES it's the most important thing.

After today's game we have 3 days to practice before next game against Memphis. It's not time to blame everybody, let's try to keep tonight's game however (like we did against Portland) and then have some good practices.

I think the team, specially at this moment, needs McDaniels defensive solidness ahead of Thornton irregular shooting or Brewer's goat game.

That's false. Last year we looked into this assertion and found he actually plays better and shoots at a higher clip with more minutes. His issue is generally that he is simply not a good shooter especially from 3. His best year for the 3 he played over 35 minutes a game and shot it over 40%. That year wiz coaching did a good job putting ariza regularly in his highest percentage zones with open looks. This year he is getting less off those and often missing open looks so far.
