Lionel Hollins crazy enough to bench Lopez and Williams - and it's working

Honestly getting the Nets to a .500 team isn't that bad. Both DWill and Garnett are washed up, and what else do they have? Joe Johnson? He's like their only good player lol. I guess Brook Lopez is okay too.

 

190M/ year payroll should get you more than .500 in the East.

 

They have 91M in payroll this season. Johnson is overpaid (not by as much as some other guys, but he ain't no 23M player), Williams and Garnett are both washed up as **** and overpaid.

The Nets roster is pretty terrible, but they are like 11-1 against teams under .500, so they get the job done against teams they're better than. That's the sign of a good coach.

 

So what does that make of Mchale's 15-1?

 

This. I follow the Nets, they are not that great on paper. Hollins is making the most of what he's got.

 

I think most can agree that McHale is much improved from last season.

 

Hollins was the coach the Rockets desperately needed.
