I posted this in the hangout. I thought I'd post it here too, because this web show interviewed Phil Yu (aka AngryAsianMan.com) about Linsanity the Movie. The web show is called JOY DUNK CLUB. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/AO4FgMNbKFE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> This is a weekly web show run by Asian American basketball bloggers discussing Jeremy Lin, basketball and society. Contrary to popular belief, I have nothing to do with the web show. I am just a fan. This episode is hilarious: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/oYWsWM4ott0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Jeremy's pre-recorded remarks after the screening in San Francisco of LINSANITY at the Center for Asian American Media Festival (formerly known as the San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival). <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/NdmpUSYrwOI?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I'm dying to know what the answer is. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>Jeremy Lin's agent is doing Q&A at the @<a href="https://twitter.com/linsanitymovie">linsanitymovie</a> screening. Yes he did answer "Why didn't the Knicks keep him?"</p>— Jessica Suarez (@JessicaSuarez) <a href="https://twitter.com/JessicaSuarez/status/312996707770200065">March 16, 2013</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Just to let you guys know, Linsanity the movie was showed last night at the 37th Hong Kong International Film Festival. Director Leong was there to hold the Q&A section http://i1026.photobucket.com/albums/y328/whitestoneism/14A47981-2717-4CF9-A534-6B35733E2623-379-0000006AFFC5EC97_zpsab5e8735.jpg
I was there too. It was at the SXSW film screening this last Saturday at the Paramount. His agent and a rep (a UT professor who I think was friends with a producer) were there to answer questions after. Someone did ask that but basically what he said was they had too much money tied up with amare, melo and jr. I did get to ask a question during the q&a. I asked how did he feel coming back to Houston after being cut by the team and he said that he loved Houston while he was here so he was happy to be coming back. After the screening I ran into him in the lobby and introduced myself as someone who grew up in Houston now living in Austin and following the Knicks since I lived in NYC for a few years and how I am rooting for Lin. But at times I do realize he isn't playing well. I mention how there are times where I felt like the coach doesn't want to play him during critical moments (obviously I have been reading that other jlin not playing in the 4th quarter thread) and how I felt that maybe the coach didn't like him like a player. He told me that he thinks there may be a bit of that but for the most part they are happy with his playing time.
