I have the opposite observation: he's got fantastic speed to the basket. What he's lacking right now is not explosiveness, but general conditioning (linked to explosiveness), and just the fine motor skills that come with constant repetition in game situations. His shot's off, he's stopping with his dribble too much, over thinking whether he should shoot, or penetrate, or pass. He's playing tentatively, as he wants to give harden room to operate, and not go crazy like he did, playing missile ball in new york. Let these guys sort it out. It's only 3 games in.

Possible he's not in basketball shape yet. The preseason and first 2 games a lot of Lin's shots were short. The previous game, his misses were in and out and his and1 in 4th quarter was amazing. Hope he can regain his top form soon. I don't have much left to add on this thread, goodnight.
I agree, Lin is god, single handedly engineered the Knicks and everything else in the universe, set records and ****, while on two broken legs ESPN national TV Lakers, and no role players just **** players no A list celebrities like Scola and Parsons and Budinger. criticism is fine I am noticing a lot of contributing members who are suppose to know their basketball posting up a lot of wrong info and facts acting like this Rox team wasnt being blown up this Summer to get a big name player named Howard...or go lottery I just dont like how long time members of Clutchfans are presenting this as if you let players go to get Lin... you may have paid more than you like for Lin... but that was after your team got gutted

one, I don't see what the big fuss is with the lin haters. For what lin is being paid, 3 and 1/2 turnovers for almost 8 assists is pretty normal. The guys that score 18 and 10 assists with only 2 turnovers, those guys get paid 16 mil plus and have been in the league for more than 35 games. And for the lin only fans.........that's crazy that you'd think true rockets fans hate line. He wears the glorious red now and we want him to excel. Both sides need to chill the f' out, enjoy the now!
