    Interesting article but not being a linguist I am not clear on how this is different than a creole. It sounds like they are combining multiple languages rather than something completely new.

    Good news considering the rate at which Aboriginal languages are dying out..

    It really is a collection of cultures we need to do more to preserve

    It seems like it borrows words from various languages but the grammar is unique. I think creoles mix words but usually keep most of the grammar from one of the languages.

    Yeah, English and German both share common words and to a lesser extent a common origin but they still are very distinct languages.
