Here are some of the line ups for the Summer Pro League. Some things that stood out to me: - Bo Outlaw and Penny Hardaway are playing with the NBA Pros and not the Suns. - Kareem Abdul Jabbar is playing. - Many of the New Orleans Hornets, including Baron Davis are on the Young Guns. - Mavs Sports only has one player that I am aware that has ever played witht the Mavs, Lucius Harris I could not find the Rockets line up. Does anyone know if Cat is playing in any of the summer leagues this year or is he sticking close to Westside. These are not complete yet. Rockets will be on there later Look at the fine print at the bottom of that web page.
Other line ups that I was unable to find are the Mavericks and the Clippers. If anyone can find these then please post.
The Rockets' lineup is posted here Clutch also reported the lineup a few days ago on the front page, I believe.
I know these are not complete but I do not see any fine print at the bottom of the web page. I am looking at: http://www.proexposure.com/ Where are you looking?
crash, That list you got is just from the official summer pro league site and there is a disclaimer on that site that says it's not complete. http://www.summerproleague.com/2002_roster.html
I'm surprised Alton Ford is not on the Suns summer league team. Oh wait, Alton is probably too good. os
With as many widespread Rockets fans as we have on this BBS, is anyone here going to be able to attend any of these games and give us a firsthand account of how the players looked? I can't remember who all it was last year (Darkhorse I remember), but whoever it was that reported on the RMR did a GREAT job, and the info they provided was very helpful during this dead time.
Looks like on the roster are the rejects who couldn't make it to fight for that final spot....who's going to shine?
I'll be going to a couple of the games, but I haven't been able to clear any particular day yet, so not sure which one's I'll be going to..I also know LA's #1 Rocketfan (or something like that) will be going too
Hey Houston-in-LA, yes I will try to attend most of games and definitely give view from them here on BBS for everybody : )
Yeah, you did a great job last year with the coverage...so I'll be able to add more input hopefully this year too...I'll be wearing my Francis jersey..see you there
Thanks Crash, For me,like you,Kareem playing is interesting.Maybe keeping in shape, providing assistance, and another body. How many of these guys are coming off injury? For Penny this makes sense. Is that Fat Lever from back in the day?..Wow,if it is. Some other names that jump out at me in no particular order. Aaron Mcghee Kareem Rush Jelani Mccoy Antonio Harvey Jason Wlliams(which one?) Luke Recker
If you are talking about Anthony Lever then that is not Fat. Fat was short for Lafayette. But as coincedence would have it, Anthony is Fat's son. You can find his Bio at the University of Oregon websight if you are interested. All I have to say is there should be some very good games. The Rockets should be very competitive as well: C - Jason Collier / Ike Nwankwo PF - Eddie Griffin / Venson Hamilton SF - Bostjan Nochbar / Terrence Morris / Pete Mickale SG- Oscar Torres / Kyle Hill / Dan Fife PG- Tierre Brown / Tito Maddox That looks like it could be a decent roster especially if Maddox is the real deal.
That's right. Fat sure had all around game...quite a few triple doubles, and one heck of a defensive player.
