Starting Lineup with Everyone Healthy? I included projected minutes based on current mpg.

    Hoping we cut Tmac's minutes..

    PG - Sura (25) / MJames(23) / Mooch (00)
    SG - DWes (32) / JBarry (16)
    SF - Tmac (35) / Sura (10) / RBowen (03)
    PF - JHoward (25) / SPadgett (15) / VBaker (08)
    Ce - Yao (32) / Deke (13) / VBaker (03)

This is what im predicting once Sura comes up.. we can always use big men that will rebound and mix it up inside. Hopefully we will see VBaker turn his career around here but his size will be useful.

    VBaker - 6'11 (240 pounds)

People were talking about him maybe becoming Comeback Player Of The Year, but unfortunately he relapsed and had to go through treatment for his alcoholism.

    Buy out Baker.

Buy him out in food stamps so he won't just blow it all at Specs.

I think VBaker needs to be banned from Stacks.. hehe

no im excited about having both of them on this team and I hope Baker can play some quality minutes behind JHoward and in a pinch play some center minutes if needed.

    * heres to hoping VBaker becomes comeback player of the year.

Well, if anyone can reform a player, its JVG.

I'm in favor of James being the starting PG even when Sura comes back, provided he doesn't screw it up royally. I've always thought Sura was more suited for coming off the bench. ANy thoughts?

If there was a picture that described what we got in the MoT deal, this would be it:

Moochie and Vin Baker all wrapped into one. LOL

hotballa, I agree that Sura is better off the bench. However, James has been a starter in only part of one of his four seasons in the league. He'll have to earn the starting job first.

It would also help if we could acquire a traditional PF-type to start next to Yao in place of Howard. Then we wouldn't miss Sura's rebouding as much.

In reality though, who starts matters less than who gets more minutes.

I'm happy Moochie is back -- even with only limited minutes off the bench.

I hope he gets a great welcome the first time he steps back on the court -- he never gave Houston anything but his best (as limited as that is).

James is the only person acquired yesterday that will have any impact. The biggest impact (bigger than James) is the cap room we freed up. What is Isaih thinking?
